The Fair
Inspired by photographs taken at county fairs, game arcades, and an abandoned mini-golf course, The Fair tells the story of a hopeful, but luckless divorced father and his attempt to win a prize for his daughter. It is a meditation on divorced parenting, the aspirations and disappointments of the working poor in the U.S., and the poignancy of failure.
Drum leaf binding, printed on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper on an archival inkjet printer.
